About Billiard

Twenty years at the cue lathe

We started in 2006 as a two-lathe workshop supplying local billiard halls. Today we run a 28,000 m² factory in Taishan — the heart of China's cue-making industry — and ship to 42 countries.

Billiard was founded on a simple frustration: buyers in Europe and the Middle East could not find a supplier who would hold a specification from one order to the next. Shafts arrived with different tapers, weights drifted, and the second container never matched the sample.

So we built the opposite kind of factory. Every model gets a written specification sheet — wood grade, moisture content, taper curve, balance point, weight window, finish. Each batch is measured against it and the results travel with the goods.

Today the same discipline covers table cloth, ball sets, cases and consumables, so a club can equip an entire room from one supplier, one QC standard and one invoice.

What the factory can do

  • In-house woodworking

Kiln drying, splicing, CNC turning and hand planing under one roof — no outsourced shafts.

  • CNC + hand finishing

Eight CNC lathes for repeatability, then twelve hand-finishing steps for feel and gloss.

  • On-site QC laboratory

Moisture meters, laser taper gauges, weight-matching scales and a cloth tensile tester.

  • OEM design studio

In-house artwork, 3D butt renders and packaging mock-ups returned within five working days.

Certifications & compliance

  • ISO 9001:2015 quality management
  • FSC chain of custody for hardwood
  • REACH & CE compliant materials
  • Third-party lab reports on request

How we operate

  • Consistency over novelty

A model that measures the same in year five is worth more to a distributor than a new finish every season.

  • Straight answers

If a lead time slips, you hear it the same week, with the new date and the reason.

  • Long orders, not large ones

We would rather grow a buyer from 30 pieces to three containers than win one oversized first order.
